fall retreat

Sorry for my bad blogging skills. I will try to get better :) Here are some pictures from our fall retreat with the students. Hope all of you are doing well. We miss ya'll!!

Looking into the kitchen from the living room. The kitchen, dining and living room are all open to each other.

We are blessed to be moving into a house. It should be ready the beginning of October. Most houses out here are stucco. This week they put the layer of cement on the house which gives it texture so in a couple of days they will paint it. We are excited about the opportunities we will have in this neighborhood and we want to use our home to be an encouragement to others. We have seen great examples of hospitality in Central Asia (thanks ya'll) and hope to follow their example!

We arrived in El Paso the 2nd week in July. It was a long trip from NC to El paso but we had great company. My mom and dad helped out so much! We thank God for his provision and protection. We were welcomed to El Paso by the Franklin mtns. Though their not the blue ridge, they have their own kind of beauty by God's design.

This is one of our favorite spots in the whole world. We always enjoying going on the parkway and looking at the beautiful blue ridge mountains.

We enjoyed ourselves in North Carolina! We got to go the fish camp (resturant) and drink really really sweet tea :)
